FCharts FAQ
FCharts is a charting software product from Spacejock Software. It comes in two editions - FCharts SE (freeware) and FCharts Pro (paid version). It uses is own data format but has the ability to import data from Premium Data using its inbuilt support of the MetaStock 2000-securities-per-folder data format. Data will need to be imported/converted on a periodic basis. This FAQ has a number of items:

Click the Import Export button. Click the MS Binary Import button. Set the MS data path to C:\Trading Data\Stocks\ASX\Equities, C:\Trading Data\Stocks\US (for US data), C:\Trading Data\Futures (for futures data) or C:\Trading Data\Stocks\Forex (for forex data).
Ensure "Export prices to Output Path" is unticked.
Tick "Import prices into FCharts"
Ensure "Multiply volume by 100" is unticked.
Ensure the date range selection is unticked. However, if you want to speed up the import process, please input a smaller date range. For the full ASX history this will take around 10-15 minutes. For the US history this will require over an hour.
For ASX you must also import the following paths too:
C:\Trading Data\Stocks\ASX\Indices
and (optionally):
C:\Trading Data\Stocks\ASX\ETOs
C:\Trading Data\Stocks\ASX\Warrants
C:\Trading Data\Stocks\ASX\Interest Bearing
C:\Trading Data\Stocks\ASX\Indicators
